Let the Music Tell the Story

Antonio Sky is an independent artist whose musical journey began at the tender age of 6. Growing up in a Catholic school environment, Antonio found his passion for singing through his participation in the choir. His love for music was further fueled by his fascination with popular music, which ignited a desire to express himself through song.

Recognizing his natural talent, his mother enrolled him in opera lessons, providing him with a unique foundation in classical vocal training. Although he had always been drawn to pop music, the influence of his opera training added a distinctive flair to his artistic style.

As his vocal abilities developed, he ventured into competitions across the city, passionately supported by his dedicated mother who took on the role of his manager. In an era without social media, they relied on networking and other avenues to promote his performances. Antonio consistently emerged victorious, securing first or second place in every competition and gradually building a devoted following as a child singer.

However, as Antonio entered his teenage years, his voice underwent a transformative change. Undeterred by this shift, he began exploring other creative avenues, immersing himself in acting and modeling. With the assistance of an agent, he regularly traveled to New York, auditioning for commercials, Broadway shows, and securing notable modeling gigs. One of his most memorable moments was being featured in a centerfold for the renowned Source magazine, a discovery he made while perusing the shelves of Tower Records.

Despite his successful foray into acting and modeling, his passion for singing eventually drew him back. He joined a singing group and spent several years performing at college campuses and various festivals, particularly those celebrating Latin music and culture.

Recognizing the importance of having a backup plan, Antonio decided to pursue a nursing degree, urged by his sister. Graduating from CCP's nursing program in 2015, he embarked on a nursing career while continuing to nurture his musical aspirations through vocal and acting lessons. However, the unforeseen arrival of the pandemic in 2020 compelled Antonio to reassess his priorities.

Realizing the extent of his selfless dedication to others, Antonio yearned to redirect that energy towards his own artistic endeavors. He began collaborating with producers and writing songs, determined to make his mark in the music industry. In November 2022, he released his debut single, "Ecstasy," providing a tantalizing glimpse into his musical repertoire. With more music in the pipeline, Antonio is poised to captivate audiences with his feel-good, soulful, and dance-infused sound.
